15 Minutes challenge - not sure if i know how to blog anymore

Its been forever since I have blogged but I'll have a go.

Hubby and I have just got back from a trip to the Sunshine Coast, for a change we didn't do a lot just a couple of tourist things and the rest was just walking, dining and relaxing watching the world go by from balcony of the apartment we were staying in. We had a bit of a mixed bag of weather including a 39 degree day and then 21 degree day with thunder and lightening thrown in.

It was a real refresh which was needed after the last few months of work but I'm hoping  I can go back to my normal hours next year.

I have been keeping up with my 15 minutes, mostly crochet but I have also been sewing clothes, trying to get an old BOM finished and starting another one.  I've been going to sit and sew once a month which has kept my stitching going.  This month I will be doing a Christmas workshop and have put my name down for an embroidery class in February with Niki Franklin who is coming to teach in Adelaide.

My hobbies have been keeping me sane through the last few months where work has just been nuts.

In August I entered a shawl into the Royal Show, and volunteered as a steward which was so much fun and I have put my name down again for next year.  The crochet guild will probably have a stand next year so I guess I will help out there as well.

Work is winding down and I have just negotiated Christmas leave, we just have to find a new office in the new few weeks or extend the lease on our current off
ice.  Head office is on a cost saving drive so we may not have a choice.

That's it for me for a bit.  Head to Kate's.

So glad you got to take a break with your guy. Sounds like you had a relaxing time. You've done well at keeping up with some sanity saving stitching stuff. Hopefully the rest of the year won't be too bad and you can start the new year with a better work schedule.
