This week I feel I have made real inroads and here is the proof. First finish is the Glam Bag which was a pressie for Sue one of my sewing buddys. The fabric is a lovely textured japanese print which I got from Hetties.
Then I went on to quilting the applique sampler and the binding is now just about done. Now for the requirements list and it can go and live at Hetties until the class on the 7 of August. I will also be doing a matching cushion.

Love the Glam Bag - it's very cute. Im seeing bags eveywhere at them moment!Perhaps it's a sign I should make one?
The applique sampler is wonderful. I love it done in those colours.
You HAVE been busy!
Bad student number 1 here. Was that sampler always blue or am I totally loosing the plot. Love Sues bag. Was it hard? I agree about blogging I am much more productive if I don't blog it is hard to get the right balance.
The Glam bag is very cute. I have yet to tackle purse frames but that is very inspiring!
your glam bag looks great. It's on my 'to do' pile!
Very glamorous (sp?) glam bag. The sampler turned out great too!
Great bag and sampler! I've been blogging lots this past week - and got withdrawal symptoms from not sewing!!

The glam bag is just perfect - love the retro feel to it with the metal clasp and chain. Your applique sampler is beautiful too - I just quilt at the moment but applique is something I really want to try.
Oh the Glam Bag is so good! I've always wanted to try doing a purse frame but I find them a little bit scary!
And I love the applique, just gorgeous :)
Love the blue sampler it looks gorgeous. I know what you mean about "doing" more and blogging less - I'm finding that's the case for me too. But I miss seeing what others are making around the place!
