My favourite thing this week is my local quilt shop, Hetties Patch. Sorry about the size of the photo's but I had to steal them from there website. The shop is always neat and tidy (unlike my sewing room) and the staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. And sometimes I get to play in the shop work there as well, and Lorraine kindly stocks some of my patterns.
And they have a lovely large and light filled class room to do classes which is essential for any good Quilt shop. Lorraine also stocks a wonderful range of gifts.

Oh yes, that's one of my favourite things too! Hetties is a truly beautiful shop. If any of you are ever in Adelaide (Or within 7 or 800 kms) you have to pop in. So. Worth. It.

there's nothing better than perusing a beautiful fabric shop, and buying a few of their treasures!
I am hoping to stop in there next year when we come through Adelaide...it's on my list. It sounds lovely and it's great to have people to support your designing endeavours isn't it.

Sounds like a lovely place. There's no quilt shop in my small town so it's an hour drive north or south to find one.

I love Hetties. It's like walking into an adult version of a lolly shop.
I managed to do significant financial damage last time I was there...Mr. P breathed a sigh of relief last time we drove past and it was closed.

I'm so glad I was able to go there with Shay (and spend lots of money).
I wish I could stop by and see this shop, everyone says it is so wonderful. Alas, it is a bit far away for me. The photos are lovely though.
