15 Minute Challenge WE 3/3/2019

Another 6/7 days this week.  With week being temperatures 37C and above it was hard to get motivated to sew but I managed.  Saturday and Sunday were spent in a class with Susan Smith at Hetties Patch so there was 6 plus hours each day which more than made up for my 1 off day.

I need to catch up with some housework this evening ... maybe just do some ironing though there isn't much motivation.

Here are my blocks from the class.  The quilt has 7 rows of 7 6" blocks there are other appliqué shapes in the pattern but I'm not a fan on them so I will probably use another block from a quilt in her book to mix in with the circles and maybe do a few more paper pieced centres.

As always Lorraines classes are well catered and we had a lovely lunch both days.

I'm booked into a Friday night class later in the month which promises to be fun.

Want to join in the 15 minute challenge head to Kate's to join the linky party.

Those circles are so pretty. Looks like it is going to be a great quilt. Good for you for making it yours by choosing which what to applique.

Looks like you've gotten a good start on a new project. Classes are such fun. Congrats on all the stitching time. Sorry it's been so hot. I'd gladly share our subzero temps, but I'm not sure you'd want those either. Happy stitching this week.
