I sent my next quilt off to Handmade on Friday and they have advised that it has arrived which is always a relief. This quilt is going to be all mine so I will happy when it returns. The magazine has also advised that my first quilt is on its way home and they have finished with it and it set to be in the Issue on sale from 30/7 so still a way away. Can't wait to see how it looks in print.
Yesterday I headed to the Stitches and Craft Fair, I stocked up on supplies from the Scissor Man (mainly rotary cutting blades), a Drunken Path set of templates in multiple sizes and of course a pair of scissors, these are of the tweezer variety, I thought they may be useful for snipping threads while machine quilting.
They have a Liberty Club which I may consider joining, just have to decide what size pieces I want. I bought Fat Quarters this time but I don't think I can afford that every month but that is a decision for another day.
Have a good weekend.
I'm in the "I'll know what I want when I see it" group as well, I just prefer to browse as well. I stopped by the same stall at AQC in Melbourne, it was very crowded, lovely fabrics of course.
Congrats on getting you second quilt submitted.
Your fabric choices are gorgeous. Hopefully you can show us what comes of them.
Like you I prefer to do my fabric selecting on my own. I often start out going one way and by the time I'm done, It's almost the opposite.
